Energy Surveys Walk Through
The Energy Survey walkthrough is the second step in the energy survey process. It includes an onsite visit of one day or less, depending on the mechanical systems, size and/or architecture. The purpose of the walkthrough is to identify major, energy-using equipment and its conditions. It also allows the identification of specific mechanical and energy issues affecting onsite personnel.
The deliverables include a 2 to 3 page executive summary defining the observed Energy Conservation Opportunities and preliminary budgets. It is also intended to produce red flags of future mechanical and maintenances issue. The Energy Walkthrough serves a basis from which determination of the value of Energy Surveys Level 1 & II can be evaluated.
